In August 2015 a client contacted MVP through Facebook looking for help. She stated that her family and friends have been experiencing multiple claims of activity.
The client reported having seen shadows walking, heard banging, footsteps, and voices. She also reported hearing a cat meowing that wasn’t there. Some of the other claims were that toys have moved when the children were asleep and that the clients’ children have a hard time sleeping as they wake up in the middle of the night screaming that there are shadow people in their rooms.
At 4:00 p.m. team members Becky Reid, Bryce Carlson, Stephanie Adams, Sally Jacobs, Amanda Peters, and Tony Caudill arrived at Pizza Ranch in Clinton, IA. We reviewed the case file and planned the investigation. We arrived at the location at 5:30 p.m. The clients gave a few of the members a tour of the home then we began the investigation approximately at 6:30 p.m.
A wireless night vision camera was set up with views of the main living area and hall way going to the bedrooms. An additional Sony HI8 was used and relocated throughout the home as needed. There were 7 audio recorders place throughout the home as well as a geophone placed in the hall were shadows were seen walking.
A toy was place in the hall to see if it would move as well as a penny in the basement clearly marked to see any changes in position.
Sally, Tony, and Amanda saw shadows moving in the far back workspace of the laundry room in the basement. Upstairs while in the living room Becky heard a cat meowing, heard voices and saw the geophone flash at the same time. While Stephanie was sitting in the girls’ bedroom she clearly heard a cat and two other members heard it as well.
We caught on audio two different clips of the cat who wasn’t there meowing and two EVP’s of a human voice.
“It’s a Girl”
Many of the members experienced the same phenomenon as the client had reported. Upon evidence reveal with the client we are able to confirm several of their claims. We are planning a second investigation in March of 2016.
